Stylist Ashton has over 20 years' experience as a hair stylist in both Korean and in Manhattan, New York. His specialty is wave perms (beach wave) & all types of Korean setting perms, digital perms, C-curl perms, etc.. He has a keen sense and eye for details and is an excellent stylist who is consistently provides great results. Our customers absolutely love him and his work.
I've never been happier with a haircut than the ones I've gotten here! Ashton is a master at his craft, and knows hair (especially asian hair) so well! And as a bonus, if you've ever experienced the classic *asks for a trim, gets 5inches cut off* problem, you will NEVER have that here! He always respects however much length you want off and I appreciate it. Overall highly recommend this place
The haircut was very solid. What I asked for and seemed like a reasonable price for the area - $43 (after tax). Note -- Price seems to depend on cut and style. I did make an appointment and had to wait about 20 min or so still, but overall a positive experience. I was able to make a same day appointment during a weekday. Also, I specifically looked for someone who knows how to cut Asian hair -- hair texture matters! I also don't like getting "upsold" so appreciated not having hair products or other add ons pushed. If you're looking for a straightforward no fuss no frills kind of haircut this seems like a good place.
Been going here for the past 5 years to get my haircut and just realized that I never left a review. Ashton is an amazing stylist! He really knows how to style asian hair, which is a skill hard to come by. I usually describe the style I am aiming for and he never disappoints!.
